A FALL OOTD IN MANCHESTER

It’s officially fall right now and I can’t even tell you how excited I am about it. I personally think the last three months of the year are some of the bests, except from the occasional extremely bad weather. It’s just such a cozy time of the year with so many great events such as halloween and christmas. But the thing that honestly excites me the most is fall fashion. I absolutely love big sweaters and coats, and I can’t wait to get some new items for my fall wardrobe.

If you’ve read my last blogpost you will know that I recently moved to the UK to study here for five months. The day I shot these photos was one of the first days here that actually felt like autumn. I went for a coffee in the city with the lovely Karolina from Tint of Mint, and we shot some photos together which was really fun. After having coffee we had a little look around in the city for some more locations to shoot photos and we ended up at this beautiful tunnel near to St. Peter’s Square.

So far it’s been so fun to explore the city since everything here is still new for me. Even though Manchester is quite a dark and gloomy city – most of it also has to do with the fact that the weather is not great here – there still are many beautiful spots to be found in and around the city centre. I know my way around the city centre now, but there’s probably still lots more to see just a bit outside the centre. You’ll probably see a lot more of the city in the upcoming blogposts.

When it comes to the outfit I’m wearing, I’ve kept things quite casual. I recently got this light pink off the shoulder sweater from H&M and I’ve been loving it. It’s super warm and cozy but still a bit different from your typical sweater as it’s off the shoulder. I also love the color of it, since it’s quite neutral but still adds a bit of color to an outfit. I paired it with some of my favorite pairs of mom jeans that I got from Monki, and I also wore my trusty white Nikes in which I practically live in. And lastly, I’m also wearing my favorite bag from Furla that I’m sure you’ve seen many times before on either my blog or Instagram. I love the way the red of the bag looks together with the pink sweater. In my opinion, a pair of good jeans with a sweater and some sneakers is the perfect outfit for fall, and it’s something you will see me wearing most of the time during the colder months. It’s also a very suitable outfit for going to university, since it’s super comfortable but still looks really cute too.

I’m super excited to be creating more content here in the UK. I feel like finding nice spots to take blog and Instagram photos actually enforces you to explore the city, and makes you see many cool places which you otherwise wouldn’t go to. I’m also hoping to visit some other places in the UK while I’m here. London is definitely at the top of my list, since I’ve only been there one time and I’d love to go again. Also it’s just the dream place for any blogger since there are so many amazing locations to shoot photos, so I definitely can’t wait to go there. But for now, you’ll see me around and about the amazing places that Manchester has to offer.
