Today’s blogpost is a little bit different from what I normally post on my blog. I recently got asked to incorporate one of Hunkemoller‘s (basically the dutch version of a Victoria’s Secret) items into a blogpost to create an outfit with it. At first, I was a bit hesitant as it’s something that you don’t see a lot in the blogger world because people find it scary to expose themselves too much. Which is very understandable. However, I took on the challenge because I feel like it is not something we should be scared of. I’m all about spreading the message of self-love and being comfortable in your own body, and if something like nightwear can make you feel more confident in any way, then I think that’s a great thing. And besides that, half of our life we probably spent in our nightwear sleeping in our beds, so why not put effort into a cute nightwear outfit?
For this outfit I’m wearing this super pretty slipdress from Hunkemoller. I absolutely love the color of it, it’s a very light blue with some pink lace details. But most importantly, it’s also super comfortable. The material of it feels super silky and soft, which is something that I personally find very important for sleepwear. It is the perfect combination of comfort while still looking super cute.
I paired it with this beige colored robe that I got from Forever21. I always throw this on in the morning when I just wake up and it’s still a bit cold in the house. Again, this robe is also super comfortable and cozy, and it goes perfectly over the slipdress.
All in all, I hope that this blogpost gives you some inspiration to put more effort into the outfits you wear while sleeping, because I feel like we sometimes forget about this. At least I know I did. Before, I would just put on a huge shirt or sweater and throw on some leggings in the morning. But ever since I’ve been wearing this outfit at night, it makes me feel excited to get ready in the evening and more confident in the morning when waking up. I really hope you guys enjoyed this different kind of outfit!
