Spring is right around the corner, meaning it’s time to update my wardrobe with some new items. I honestly can’t wait for spring to arrive as I’m so done with the cold weather in the Netherlands. But also because I can’t wait to finally be able to wear dresses and tops again instead of the huge chunky sweaters. I had a look on the website OTTO and found a few new items I’m adding to my wishlist for the upcoming spring. And I will be sharing them with you in this blogpost!

The Wrap Dress

I’ve been eyeing up these beautiful flowy dresses for a while now, and I’ve seen them all over Instagram. However the weather here just makes it impossible to wear them. So spring will be the perfect time for me to finally hop on this trend like many other bloggers already have. These dresses are perfect for everyday wear but definitely also can be dressed up by adding a good pair of heels. I definitely see myself wearing the wrap dress a lot when the weather starts warming up, which hopefully is soon!

Comfy Streetwear

Another huge trend at the moment are the more ‘streetstyle’ pieces. Or basically items you would normally wear for doing sports, but the fact that it has become a trend is a good excuse to wear items like these daily. I’m all about comfort, so these four pieces I picked are perfect for me in that sense. But above that, I honestly think they also look really good. I personally quite love the ‘streetstyle’ look because it makes outfits seem very effortless while still looking cool. And even though these items all look very comfy they still can be dressed up, for example by adding a good pair of heels or combining the joggers with a nice shirt.

The Basic Tee

Basics are so important to have in your wardrobe and I couldn’t live without some good basic t-shirts. Especially in the spring time one of my go-to outfits is simply a basic tee with a pair of mom jeans and some sneakers. It’s so easy to combine and layer with other items in your wardrobe, so you really can’t go wrong here. I love my simple white and stripes t-shirts, but these logo ones can add just that bit extra to an outfit.

I hope you enjoyed this blogpost and maybe found some inspiration on what to buy the upcoming season. Let me know what your spring wishlist looks like, I’d love to know!

x Kirsten

One of my favorite Nordic stores called Cubus just had a -30% off sale and I bought so many basic t-shirts with different prints and colours! I probably need to take some of them back though… 🙂 x
