I’m a huge lover of lipsticks and have collected quite a selection over the years. I used to buy a lot of lipsticks from MAC and NYX, but recently I’ve been getting into the more luxury beauty brands a lot. I love how these more luxury brands really care about packaging and representation of the product, as well as quality. That’s why I thought it would be nice to show you my top four selection of my most luxurious lipsticks, as I know it can be quite difficult to pick from the many amazing brands out there. Especially when you are willing to purchase a more expensive lipstick, a little help is always useful in my opinion.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture

Yves Saint Laurent is one of my favorite brands when it comes to packaging of beauty products. All of their makeup have a very luxurious look by using a lot of gold. This specific lipstick is very creamy in formula and feels really nice on the lips. It’s not matte but it doesn’t leave the lips glossy either. I have it in the color number 70, which is a beautiful nude color. I love wearing this lipstick on a daily basis when I want something quick and easy that will moisturize my lips at the same time.

YSL Volupte Sheer Candy

To be honest, when I first bought this lipstick I was a bit disappointed. And that’s because this lipstick is not very pigmented. But now that I’ve had it for a bit longer, I’ve actually started really liking it. It’s almost like a lipbalm with a hint of color, which is perfect if you like the ‘no makeup’ makeup look. I tend to wear this lipstick on days I want to go for more of a natural look, but still want to have some sort of color on my lips. I personally have it in the color number 12, which is a very pretty light pink.

Chanel Rouge Allure Ink

This is a complete different lipstick than the ones from YSL. This one by Chanel is actually a liquid lipstick that dries up matte. I really like this one because the formula is not drying at all. Most of my other liquid lipsticks makes my lips feel super uncomfortable and dry, but this one by Chanel is one of the few liquid lipsticks I’ve found that doesn’t do this. I have it in the color 140 Amoureux, which is a beautiful nude with some orange undertones.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution

As the name already says, this lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury has a matte formula. Again, this lipstick is not drying at all but feels super comfortable like the Chanel one. The pigmentation of this lipstick is really good, and I feel like Charlotte Tilbury does such a good job at the color selection. They have so many good shades, so there definitely is a color for everyone. I personally have the color ‘Very Victoria’ which is one of my favorite nude colors ever.

I hope you enjoyed having a look at my top 4 luxury lipsticks. I love all of these and think they are worth the price, even though they are quite expensive. I only ever buy these lipsticks as a special treat to myself. But above that, they are also perfect for photos as the packaging just looks amazing!

What’s your favorite luxury lipstick?

I absolutely love the YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks! I just got my first CT one and still have yet to try it as it looks so beautiful. I’m sure I’ll love it though! My go to brand when it comes to lipsticks is still MAC, I just love them 🙂 x

It’s good to see bloggers advocate about luxury brands because I often see a lot about drug store products ect. Now I know these are definitely worthwhile, especially for the cost! I am going to get my hands on a YSL one, I just love their packaging on their cosmetics.

The images look good too 🙂
