EMBRYOLISSE GENTLE NIGHT PEELING | REVIEW

As you guys know, I’m always on the hunt for new skincare products to improve my skin. So when I got asked to receive a new product that Embryolisse is coming out with, I immediately said yes. Embryolisse do one of my favorite moisturizers which I’ve shared many times on this blog before, namely the Lait Creme Concentre. This is a moisturizer that I love to wear underneath makeup to hydrate my skin and prime at the same time. However, besides from this product by Embryolisse, I’ve never tried any of their other products. So when I received their new Gentle Night Peeling, I couldn’t wait to try it out. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now, and I’m going to share my thoughts on it with you today.

What it claims

The Gentle Night Peeling by Embryolisse is an exfoliating cream that will increasing the regeneration of skin cells. By using this product night after night, it will reveal a new skin with a bright and radiant complexion. The fruit acids in this cream will stimulate the natural exfoliating process of the skin, increasing cell renewal. And the several types of natural oils, like macadamia and argan oils, keep the skin nourished and soft. Over time, the cream can help with reducing texture and wrinkles, cleaning the pores so the skin can breathe again, and an overall more even complexion.

The product

As I mentioned before, this is an exfoliating cream, something that I’ve never tried before. I have tried exfoliating toners and serums, but using an actual cream that has an exfoliating effect is new to me. The cream itself is quite thick, but is very easy to apply onto the skin. It has quite a strong scent, which might be a bit too much for some people. It’s the same kind of scent as the Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre, if you’re familiar with it. To me it smells quite luxurious so I don’t mind the fact that it has a strong scent.

The packaging

The packaging is very practical and easy to use. It’s just a simple squeeze tube, which is the most hygienic for skincare as it makes sure no bacteria can get into the product. The design of the tube is quite simple, which I like. It’s the typical Embryolisse packaging.

What it did for me

Now onto the most interesting part, I will of course tell you all about what the effect of this product has been on my skin so far. I’ve been using this cream every single night for around two weeks now, and I have to say, I’m quite impressed. Since I started using this peeling, my skin actually has gotten a lot better. For those who don’t know, I struggle quite a bit with acne and acne scarring, and finding products that work to both keep my acne away and reduce my scarring at the same time is pretty difficult. But this peeling by Emryolisse meets with both of these demands. It did not break me out and it helped with a more even complexion. I feel like it does a really good job at reducing texture on the skin while at the same time keeping it moisturized. Unlike many other exfoliating products, the Gentle Night Peeling does not leave my skin feeling dry or tight at all.

I’m very happy that I got to try out this product as it honestly has been doing amazing things for my skin. I will definitely continue using this product as I love how it works for me. I’m hoping it can transform my skin even more over time, so I’ll definitely keep you updated on how things go. The Embryolisse Gentle Night Peeling will be available for purchase in December 2017, so if you’re interested in purchasing keep this date in mind!

I also struggle with acne and acne scarring and this product sounds great for both. I think I’ll be giving it a try in addition to the moisturizer (I’ve been wanting to try this one for some time). Excellent post!
