FALL OUTFIT 3 | MINIMAL WITH A POP OF COLOR

It’s the fall season, my favorite as you probably know by now, meaning that all my coats and jackets can finally come out of storage again. I’m so happy to be layering and styling all my favorite outerwear again. For me, having a good collection of outerwear is very important as living in the Netherlands can get pretty chilly in the colder months of the year. So I basically live in my outerwear when this time of the year arrives. Today I’m going to show you how I’ve styled one of my favorite coats for fall. This is a very simple and minimal outfit, but I added a pop of color to it to make it a bit more interesting.

Let’s start off with the main piece of this outfit, the coat. In my opinion, this coat has the perfect length. Being quite petite, I struggle finding long coats that look good with my height. Typically long coats are too long for me and I basically drown in them. But this coat is perfect for my body which is why I love it so much.

I got this coat from Primark. Unfortunately I got it a few years ago, so you can’t get it anymore. However, there are so many similar coats out there. If you really like this piece, I’d recommend having a look at Mango or Zara, as they do really amazing coats with a similar look.

For the rest of my outfit, I’m wearing my favorite pair of black jeans from Topshop. I love these jeans as they are high-waisted, cropped and have a raw rem. I think they look really flattering and they’re such a good basic to have in your wardrobe. I paired these jeans with a black high-neck top from Zara. Again, a basic I feel like everyone should have in their wardrobe. I love wearing high-neck tops in the fall time as they keep me nice and warm and also look very put together in my opinion.

For accessoiries I’m wearing my well beloved Furla Metropolis Mini Bag for that pop of color. The rest of my outfit is quite toned down because of all the blacks and greys. Adding a small colorful accessory like this bag is a really easy way to make an outfit a bit more interesting.

And to finish of the outfit, I’m wearing these back pointed chelsea boots from Zara. These boots have the look of snake leather which makes them look quite expensive, while they were actually quite affordable. I love these boots as they look quite different from your typical black heeled boots, but still are very wearable. Also, the heel isn’t too high which makes them quite casual and comfortable to wear.
