For me it’s very important to have a space where I feel comfortable and motivated. This is why I always make sure that my room is clean and nicely decorated. I love adding new little bits and pieces of decoration to my room every once in a while, and I tend to change up small parts of my room quite often. I think that small changes like this are really good, as they make me excited to be in my room. In my opinion, it’s so important to be able to come home to a space that represents yourself and the things you like. I’m working in my room every single day, either for my study or my blog, so having an inspiring place to work in is really important for me. In this blogpost I’m going to share with you one part of my room, my dresser, and the way I’ve decorated it. I’m going to do a few more of these kinds of posts so stay tuned if you’re interested in how I decorated other parts of my room.

First of all, I’d like to share a bit more about what I like when it comes to decorating my room. I have a very clean, white and minimal style and I don’t like to have a lot of stuff in my room. I feel like having too much stuff in my room creates a mess very quickly, and when your room is a mess, your mind is a mess. So I try to keep things minimal, simple and clean.

In this right corner of my dresser I have these two candles. The ‘Pumpkin Cupcake’ candle is from Bath and Body Works and smells absolutely amazing. I love this scent for the fall time as it makes my whole room smell like cinnamon and sugar. The other candle is from Primark, and I love it because it’s rose gold. I think these two candles look really nice together in this corner. To add a bit more, I’ve placed a little fake plant which I also got at Primark. I also have this little marble notebook on the corner of my dresser, so when I want to write something down it’s easy to grab.

On the left corner of my dresser I have this beautiful (real) plant that I’m obsessed with. I think that adding plants to a room makes such a difference, and makes to whole place come to life. Next to the plant, I’ve placed three more candles (can you tell I’m a candle lover haha!). Here I’ve got one more rose gold candle, one ‘white pumpkin’ scented candle and my favorite dyptique candle in the scent ‘noisetier’.

I always have my favorite jewellery of the moment laying on my dresser too. At the moment these are my new Cluse watch (you can find a full blogpost on this watch here if you’re interested), my Michael Kors watch, a ring from & Other Stories and a pair of earrings from Weekday. Having them laid out on my dresser makes it easy to reach for in the morning when I’m getting dressed.

So this is all for the decorations I have on my dresser. If you’re wondering, the dresser itself is from Ikea. And as I said before, I really like to have a simple and clean (but still cozy) space, which is why I don’t have too much stuff placed on my dresser. I hope you enjoyed this post and it maybe gave you some inspiration for your interior!

I look at your room’s pictures on Instagram often, and I love it! Your room is exactly like my dream room: clean, neat, minimal. I love the marble and white details, the motivational paints, the candles, the plants, the beauty products and jewels used like decor pieces. My room is terrible, I hate it ahahah but I hope I’ll built an home studio that looks exactly like your romm, when I’ll have my own house.

I’m attractive to clean spaces period. I enjoyed the blog post and your pictures. I don’t think you mentioned where your ring on the dresser is from.

I love the little details of your room! The candles work so nicely together, and the pop of greenery is really refreshing. I need to add some plants to my room!
