Fall is finally here and I’m so excited to be able to wear fall fashion again. There’s just something about fall fashion that I love, the layering, the coats, the sweaters. There are so many different combinations to create with just a few fall appropriate pieces, and one of these staple pieces for me during fall is the oversized sweater. I already mentioned the ‘oversized sweater’ in my blogpost about transitioning from summer to fall, which you can check out here if you’re interested. And in this post I’ve styled this sweater so you can see how I would wear it.
So to start off, the sweater that I’m wearing in this outfit is from Urban Outfitters. I love this sweater at the moment as it’s made of a super soft and comfortable material and I think the color of it is perfect for the fall season. I also really like the cut of this sweater as it’s a bit more cropped in the front and longer in the back, which is very flattering in my opinion. I decided to get this sweater in a size M to get that oversized look. This is a little tip if you can’t find any good oversized sweaters, just pick one that you like and size up one or two sizes.
I’ve combined this outfit with one of my favorite coats at the moment, which is this black blazer coat from Monki. This coat is also a bit on the oversized side. It’s an absolute staple in my wardrobe as this coat is so easy to pair with any outfit, either casual or dressy.
For shoes I decided to go for these black heeled boots from Zara. I think that these kind of boots make an outfit look really put together. If you want to go for a more casual look, I would just go for a nice pair of black sneakers.
In the fall time I tend to wear a lot of jeans, so that’s also what I decided to go for with this look. Jeans are so easy to style and always look really good in my opinion. For this outfit, I chose a blue pair with some ripped details and a high-waist. The specific jeans I’m wearing in this outfit are from Topshop. Topshop do so many good pairs of jeans, so definitely have a look there if you’re on the hunt for a new pair.
And lastly to finish the outfit, I wore this small nude cross-body bag. A little bag like this really completes an outfit in my opinion and the nude color makes it really easy to style as it goes with almost anything.
I hope this blogpost gave you some outfit inspiration for fall! Definitely keep an eye on my blog if you’re interested in seeing more fall outfits, because I have a few more planned for the upcoming weeks.
