I’m a huge lipstick lover ever since I started wearing makeup. I think that lip products actually were the first makeup products I started using when I was around 12 years old. Now, a couple of years later and many lipsticks more, I know a lot more about what I like and don’t like in a lipstick, what brands work the best for me, and what looks best with my skin tone. I personally have a big love for nude lipsticks as I feel like they look quite good with my appearance. But I have to say, when it comes to nude lipsticks you have to be careful. It can be either a complete hit, or a complete miss. It either pulls a look together really nicely, or makes you look like a zombie lol. That’s why I’m going to share with you my three favorite nude lipsticks that are definitely worth spending on in my opinion.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick – Very Victoria
This is one of my ultimate favorite lipsticks in my whole collection. This nude lipstick has quite a unique color that I’ve never seen in any other lipstick before. The color is definitely more on the brown side, which I personally really like in nude lipsticks. At the same time, the color is quite light which you don’t see a lot with these brown-toned lipsticks. Also, I love the formula. Normally I find matte lipsticks quite drying, but this one is not drying at all. It feels really comfortable and natural on the lips which I love.
Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Lipstick – Child Star
This lipstick is definitely the most intense nude out of the three I’m sharing in this post. I think it will not suit everyone to one’s liking, but I personally think it’s a great color. I love the color of this lipstick as I think it has a perfect balance of pink and brown undertones. When looking at the formula, it’s definitely a bit more on the dry and heavy side compared to the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, but I personally don’t mind because that’s what you can expect from a liquid lipsticks. But compared to other liquid lipsticks, this formula is one of my favorites and the lasting power is also amazing.
MAC Matte Lipstick – Honeylove
MAC is still one of my favorite brands to buy lipsticks from as I think they have a great range of colors and formulas. I’ve tried quite a lot of MAC lipsticks, but I always come back to MAC Honeylove when I’m in the mood for a nude color. This color is more warm-toned than the other two lipsticks in this post. It’s just a very beautiful light beige nude color where you can’t really go wrong with. I think the MAC matte formula is not too drying either, so it’s quite comfortable on the lips. I also love wearing this lipstick on top of the MAC lipliner in ‘subculture’. This combination makes for the perfect nude lip.
